  • A leading life assurance company based at phase 2 karachi is looking to hire senior Manager Budgeting and planning.
    Identify, develop and implement the annual budgeting and planning policy and processes.
    Liaise with key stakeholders to develop the budget model for the Company.
    Identify and implement budgeting tools as may be required for the annual budgeting process.
    Coordinate with various departmental heads to understand their budgets and budgeting processes implement mechanisms for consolidating departmental budgets into the Company budget.
    Develop, present, and oversee financial budgets on an annual and quarterly basis.
    Ensure all departmental and consolidated company budget and financial processes align with annual company goals.
    Develop and maintain long-term financial plans and assist in forecasting the financial needs of the company throughout the year.
    Track results and comparing them to key financial targets.
    Assist the CFO in identification of potential risks/opportunities. Identify, flag, and analyse potential financial and budgetary risks.
    Prepare cost estimates and plans, while providing necessary reporting, documentation, and financial assessments.
    prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key financial metrics and variances from the budget and explaining complex financial data clearly.
    Develop and maintain an accurate record-keeping system.
    Provide financial summaries, reports, and recommendations as needed.
    Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis, scenario planning, and financial modeling.
    Ensure all financial decisions and records adhere to legal regulations. In addition, ensure compliance with internal policies, and implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s assets.

    EDUCATION

  • ·preferably a Professional Certification or a Masters degree in Finance or Business Administration from a reputed institute
    At least 5-7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, preferably within the insurance or financial services sector
